Mission

To provide comprehensive, trauma-informed support for women rebuilding their lives after domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and/or other trauma in the Portland, Oregon area.

Vision

We envision the proverbial "village" -a community where every woman has the support, resources, and connections she needs to rebuild and thrive after trauma.

Values

Dignity

We honor the inherent worth of every woman. You are the expert on your own life, and we treat you with the respect you deserve.

Community Over Isolation

Healing doesn't happen alone. We create spaces of belonging where women support one another through the rebuilding process.

Trauma-Informed Practice

We understand how trauma impacts every aspect of rebuilding. Safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment guide everything we do.

Practical Support

We don't just refer you to resources—we help you access them. We provide tangible assistance, not just information.

Lived Experience as Expertise

The women who've walked this path have wisdom that can't be taught. We center their voices and leadership.

Holistic Approach

We address the whole person—emotional, practical, relational, and systemic needs. Rebuilding isn't one thing; it's everything.

Empowerment, Not Rescue

We support your agency and self-determination. You make the decisions about your life; we walk alongside you.

Systemic Awareness

Individual struggles often reflect systemic failures. We advocate for change while supporting you in navigating systems as they are.

Cultural Humility

We acknowledge power dynamics, commit to ongoing learning, and honor the diverse experiences of the women we serve.

Sustainability

We're building an organization that will be here for the long haul, because this work doesn't end.
